Ministry

The purpose of Jalapa Chapel is Christian ministry and outreach into the surrounding community. While the church does not meet on Sunday mornings, regular Sunday evening services feature Worship, Bible-centered teaching/preaching and fellowship opportunities.

Midweek Bible Study

Have you ever wondered what the Bible says? What is really says and if it has anything to say to you? You've heard 'things' about the Bible but you don't know if what you've heard is really true...correct...accurate... . It all sounds kind of confusing. What does the Bible actually say? Anything you need to hear? Well, here's your chance to find out, in a safe, comfortable setting where everyone is investigating. No pressure, no nothing. Just the chance to take a look for yourself and see what the Bible has to say. The Bible speaks for itself. We will discuss it and give our thoughts and opinions. But, in the end, the Bible will speak for itself loud and clear. Come join us as we jump in and give it a fair "listen". An Investigative Study of the Gospel of Mark, led by Robert and Deena Finney is at 7 p.m. each Wednesday in the basement fellowship hall.
